Aloe Vera
Aloe vera (Aloe Barbadensis Miller) is a plant of the Aloeaceae family that prefers warm, dry climates. Use of aloe vera as a medicinal plant dates back to ancient times.
The leaves yield a juice that is rich in polysaccharides and mucilage, mannitol and xylitol, amino acids, vitamins and antioxidants. The high mucilage and polysaccharide content gives the extract important, unique moisturising and re-epithelising properties, as it forms a protective film over the skin that allows water through to the epidermis, keeping it moisturised and preventing water loss from the skin layer.
It also contains polyphenols, salicilates and sterols to sooth inflamed or injured skin.

Apple
Pyrus malus extract
The apple belongs to the Rosaceae family. The tree probably originates from Central and West Asia and has been used extensively in Europe since ancient times.
Apple extract, obtained from the flesh of the false fruit, is rich in polysaccharides, polyphenols, proteins and amino acids, vitamins (provitamin A, vitamins B1, B2, B6, E and C) and mineral salts (mainly potassium, calcium, phosphor and magnesium). The amino acids and the proteins give hair a richness and substance, restoring the natural balance of keratin fibres that comprise it. The polyphenol and vitamin content gives the extract antioxidant and protective properties with regards to free radicals. The apricot (Prunus armeniaca L.) is a tree belonging to the Rosaceae family. The tree was already in China when it was spread throughout Europe by the Arabs a great many centuries ago. Apricot extract is obtained from the fruits, which are rich in polysaccharides, polyphenols and vitamin C. The polyphenols and vitamin C have a protective anti-oxidant effect on the skin, helping prevent skin ageing. The polysaccharides, on the other hand, thanks to their capacity to bind water, form a protective film over the skin, preventing dehydration. Apricot oil is instead extracted from the seeds of the tree fruit.

Argan oil
Argan Oil is also used in the cosmetic field thanks to its antioxidant, emollient, moisturizing and highly elasticizing properties. It is rich in Vitamin E and several essential fatty acids. The assafetid or fetid assa (Ferula assa-foetida L., is a species of the family Apiaceae, native to Iran and characterized by a strong and penetrating smell. It contains terpenes, rubbers and sulfur compounds. Assafètida is also considered a very effective medicinal herb, especially in case of digestive, intestinal and respiratory disorders. And thanks to the richness of the unsaponifiable fraction, it is used in the composition of a great many cosmetics intended for devitalised, dehydrated, rough and "dull" skin.
The functional substances contained in the unsaponifiable fraction of avocado oil are, in fact, able to promote collagen synthesis by the dermal cells. All this results in effective skin renewal, with a consequent increase of moisture and elasticity in the skin.
Borage is an annual herbaceous plant of the Boraginaceae family. It’s probably native to the East, and it’s widespread in most of Europe and Central America. A great commercial interest has emerged, at international level, for the oil extracted from the seeds: the oil gamma 3 linolenico (GLA; 18:3.OMEGA.6), that it has remarkable uses, above all nutritional, dietetic, medicinal, cosmetic.

Centella asiatica, also referred to as the "tiger herb" in India, is a medicinal plant belonging to the Apiaceae family. Originally from Asia, it also grows in Australia and Africa, where it thrives particularly in damp, swampy areas. Its action is seen in two main Therapeutic forms: vessel-protective and trophic-healing, due to the Terpenes in the extract. The active ingredients also help maintain tone and elasticity in the vessel walls, encouraging the drainage of liquids in cellulite and providing relief to swollen legs.
The Chamomile (Matricaria recutita L.) is an annual herbaceous plant of the Asteraceae family. Native to southern and eastern Europe and part of Asia, Chamomile is nowadays diffused in all Europe, in the Americas and also in Australia. The popular tradition has always resorted to the infusion of Chamomile as Lavender in the inflammations of the mucous membranes, in particular in the vaginal ones, so much so that, even at the industrial level, there have been prepared for years with camomile.

The Cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum of the family of the Lauraceae) is a small evergreen tree about 10 - 15 m tall, native to Sri Lanka. Cinnamon has a thousand-year history: it was already mentioned in the Bible; it was used by the ancient Egyptians for embalming and also mentioned in the Greek and Latin world. Unlike other drugs, the spice is not derived from seed or fruit, but from the stem and twigs that, once released from the outer cork and treated, take on the classic appearance of a small parchment rolled hazel color. This spice has an antioxidant power among the highest ever. Traditionally used against cooling diseases and as antibacterial and antispasmodic, it is also used for its tonic-stimulating effects due to the reactivation of the microcirculation if applied to the skin. Citronella or Lemongrass (Cymbopogon genus) is a perennial herb from the temperate-warm and tropical regions of the Old World. Its citrus odour, similar the lemon, makes it an interesting additive in aromatising cosmetic formulas, giving the product a greater sensation of Freshness.

The cucumber (Cucumis sativus) is a vegetable that belongs to the cucurbitaceae family, originally from India. In the sixteenth century, the Italian physician and humanist Pietro Andrea Mattioli was already recommending cucumber seeds and juice to "make skin beautiful". Hemp seed oil contains 10% saturated fatty acids and about 90% polyunsaturated essential fatty acids (Omega 6 and Omega 3); the high presence of these fatty acids in hemp oil is the basis of its nutritional benefits. In Hemp Oil we also find discrete amounts of vitamin A and E (natural antioxidants), C and group B (in particular B1, B2 and B6). Due to its powerful anti-inflammatory action, this oil is excellent for many skin problems such as: psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema, mycosis, irritations from allergies, dry dermatitis and for all inflammations or localized irritations. The Horsetail is a fern with sterile (50 cm) stem (without flowers and seeds). The active ingredients present in the Horsetail are: silica, calcium, magnesium, potassium, saponin, flavonic glucosides, small amounts of alkaloids and tannins. Due to the presence of these mineral salts, in a molecular form highly available to our organism, the Horsetail favors the remineralization of the osteo-articular system and of the hard tissues such as nails and hair. In ancient times, its soothing, emollient properties were used to cure tumefied sores that had hardened through infection. Marshmallow roots are particularly rich in mucilage, but also include starch, pectin, flavonoids, tannins and calcium oxalate. As in ancient times, today too modern cosmetology uses marshmallow root extract to produce moisturising, softening products for the skin, exploiting the moisturising, protective properties of the mucilage contained in the plant, which forms a persistent moisturising shield over the skin that lasts for some time.

Plukenetia is a climbing plant (Euphorbiaceae), commonly known as sacha inchi, native to Peru. For its beneficial properties it uses the oil obtained from the seeds. Sacha inchi oil is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 groups, it is also rich in proteins and vitamins E and A. The essential fatty acids, combined with the presence of vitamin E, allow the control of free radicals and consequently is an excellent natural antioxidant. At the skin level it has nutritional and restorative properties.
The raspberry (Rubus idaeus L.) is a shrub from the Rosaceae family, of which the fruit by the same name, red in colour and with a slightly acidulous sweetish flavour, is much appreciated in food. It typically grows in open spaces within a woodland. It is easy to grow in temperate regions and tends to spread rapidly. The oil extracted from the raspberry seeds is rich in essential fatty acids and vitamin E. The raspberry, leaf and fruit extract also contains polyphenols and vitamins B and C. From a cosmetic viewpoint, it is used for its emollient, lubricant and skin conditioning properties. It creates a lipid barrier that can protect the skin whilst keeping it moisturised. It has aromatising, soothing and astringent properties. It also acts on the skin microcirculation, protecting and strengthening the blood vessel walls and improving circulation.

The Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) is a tropical plant, belonging to the Poaceae family. The Sugar Cane is a plant native to Asia, introduced in Europe by the Arabs. Nowadays it is cultivated in almost all countries of Asia, America, Africa and Australia. In Europe the cultivation is limited to Spain only. It's used in the cosmetic treatments against the imperfections of cellulite thanks to its content in glycolic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid that thanks to the surface exfoliating activity stimulates renewal even in the deepest states of the skin, with increased synthesis of collagen and elastin in the dermis. Common thyme (Thymus vulgaris L.,) is an aromatic shrub plant belonging to the Lamiaceae family.It grows wild in the West Mediterranean; its scientific name derives from the Greek for strength or courage, features that it would be able to awaken in those smelling the balsamic perfume. The main part responsible for its virtues is the essential oil, comprising 30-70% thymol and 3-15% carvacrol, both with an antiseptic action and balsamic characteristics. These properties mean that thyme is used to calm itching and it is therefore highly recommended in intimate cleansers.

Wheat (Triticum vulgare), or wheat, is a plant belonging to the Graminaceae family. Wheat germ oil, extracted from wheat germ by cold pressure, represents a concentrate of the lipid fraction of the germ. It therefore contains a good amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids and also an unsaponifiable fraction rich in phytosterols and tocopherols. Compared to common seed oils, wheat germ oil has the highest content in vitamin E. For this reason it is recommended to compensate the drying out of dry and very dry skin, as it strengthens the hydrolipidic film that covers the epidermis. It is particularly indicated in protective and restorative creams, where it has a moisturizing and nourishing action. It is able to improve the capillary circulation and oxygenation of tissues, has a soothing and antioxidant. Because of its characteristics, wheat germ oil is particularly useful for dry and sensitive skin with a tendency to couperose; it is also particularly indicated in the formulation of cosmetics for the treatment of skin aging and solar products.
